IoT (Internet of Things)

Any system with the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human interaction. For example, industrial sensors that collect data on the machine vibration and send that data to the cloud are a part of the Internet of Things, as are smartwatches that can monitor your heart rate during exercise and send that information to an app on your phone.
